Flood: Take alternative routes, NEMA urges residents of Lagos
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has urged residents of the Command area in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State to use alternative routes to their respective destinations due to the early morning rain that caused floods on major roads.
The downpour, which started around 2 am and 5 am in some areas and spread across the state, lasted a few minutes before 10 am on Tuesday.
Residents of the Command area were also cautioned against using the Command bridge because it has been submerged by the flood.
