It’s all because tomatoes are high in the vitamin lycopene, which is also responsible for their colour.
3. Coffee and Green Tea
A cup of coffee or tea in the morning can help you keep a healthy prostate. It’s not the caffeine, but some of the other active compounds in coffee that make a difference. Even if you prefer decaf coffee, it is still helpful. If you don’t care for coffee, try a cup of green tea instead.
4. Leafy greens
Cooked greens including spinach, mustard greens, and collard greens have been shown to reduce the risk of prostate cancer in studies.
5. Fatty fish
“Good fats” are found in some fish. These healthy fats do not induce inflammation like saturated animal fats do. Salmon, sardines, and trout are among the cold-water fish that contain them.
Scientists believe that inflammation in the prostate is a risk factor for cancer. Inflammation can make cancer more likely to spread.
