Four Bayern Stars want Coach sacked
The aim of FC Bayern was to be up to the top match in Dortmund on Saturday next in strike distance to BVB, with as much as possible to beat the front runner. This mission failed this weekend, the 1-1 defeat of Freiburg (the fourth compulsory home game without a win) means four points behind. The crisis is intensifying, with the football leaks over the Super League and the Instagram gate by Lisa Muller appearing on other sides.
Especially the mail of Thomas Müller’s wife gives a deep insight. Would a player woman react so flippantly, if at home not similar would be spoken about the subject? Hardly likely. Already after the shaken victory in the DFB Cup against fourth division Rödinghausen the tense nervous costume of the world champion was clearly visible. But Thomas Müller is not the only actor in which it is supposed to seethe. As reported by the kicker on Monday, Mats Hummels, Franck Ribéry and Arjen Robben are more than unhappy with the Kovac style, and the paper even describes their status as “internally scored”.
Kovac needs backing from Salihamidzic, but he is the “nice buddy”
Hasan Salihamidzic does not seem to be able to support the coach. The sports chief lack the assertiveness and authority, have the image of a “nice buddy,” they say. Publicly he acted momentarily and helpless. Although there had recently been a clarifying conversation with Jerome Boateng and Robert Lewandowski, but Ribéry should continue to be eaten. Main reason: the rotation. It is similar with Müller and Hummels, the irregular operating times are a nuisance to them. For Robben it should be the many substitutions, in 13 competitive games he had eight times prematurely from the field. Another point that displeased the stars was the lack of tactics and the stubbornness of Kovac on his 4-1-2-2-1 system. A plan B should not exist.
The result: the actors are now missing the rhythm. But even worse, according to Kicker is the fact that these four players now hold back and show little motivation to change the current situation. The team thus lacked the hierarchy and leadership required by experienced players in crises.
The question that arises now: stumbles Niko Kovac about these four players? Do you plug in the rest of the squad with their listlessness? According to the newspaper Bayern want to hold on to Kovac, even in a bankruptcy in Dortmund. The path of change should continue to be pulled through with the Croat.
