Ganduje appoints new commissioners, reassigns some others
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has appointed new commissioners to fill the vacancies created by mass resignations of Commissioners before the party primaries of political parties.
The nominated names for appointment as commissioners sent to the Kano State House of Assembly for confirmation include Ibrahim Dan’azumi Gwarzo, Abdulhalim Liman Dan Maliki, Lamin Sani Zawiyya, Ya’u Abdullahi Yanshana, former Speaker of the State House of Assembly; Speaker, Garba Yusif Abubakar, a loyalist of former Governor Ibrahim Shekarau; Yusif Jibril Rurum, a Veteran Journalist, Adamu Abdu Panda, a former National Assembly member, and Saleh Kausani.
