Gov Bello resumes duty as APC national chairman, swears in State Chairmen

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State on Monday resumed official duty as interim National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee. The Niger State governor, accordingly, inaugurated the party’s 36 state chairmen.

Governor Bello conducted the inauguration at APC party secretariat in the presence of security officials and secretariat staff on Monday.

Governor Mala Buni was removed on the border of president Buhari after some APC Governors complained about the chairman’s plans to frustrate the planned convention.

Governor Bello also presided over the meeting of the Caretaker/Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee of the ruling APC at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
