Gov Sanwo-Olu visit to Tinubu in London dispels speculations of ill-health, death of the APC leader
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State paid solidarity visit to the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in London, the United Kingdom (UK), on Tuesday, as speculations of ill-health spread across the state by mischief makers. There were indications that the Lagos State governor had made the visit to disprove speculated reports that the APC national leader had been brought down by illness in London, the United Kingdom (UK).
The media aide to Tinubu, Tunde Rahman, had in a statement refuted a report by SaharaReporters that the former Lagos State governor, Tinubu, had fallen sick and was being provided medical treatment overseas.
Rahman, dispelling the report, declared that Tinubu is hale and hearty. The media aide stated that people afraid of Tinubu are the ones spreading rumours of his death and ill health each time the former governor travels out of the country.
Many stakeholders in the state had expressed relief that Governor Sanwo-Olu’s visit to the UK has confirmed that “Tinubu is not only alive but also hale and hearty.” They chided those spreading evil reports and rumours, calling for caution and restraints.
