Graham Potter’s replacement finally revealed
Reports have emerged that Roberto De Zerbi and Brighton are in negotiations for the position of head coach.
Graham Potter, who left for Chelsea earlier this month, has been replaced by the 43-year-old, who has emerged as the leading candidate.
In the interim, Adam Lallana, a former England international, has joined Brighton’s coaching team to assist Andrew Crofts, a former Norwich star, in his capacity as temporary manager of the Seagulls.
Before joining Shakhtar Donetsk, De Zerbi established his reputation with Sassuolo in Italy, twice placing seventh in Serie A.
Before quitting the club in July, when conflict broke out with Russia, he had guided the Ukrainian team to the Super Cup triumph and 20 victories out of 30 games.
In light of Massimiliano Allegri’s uncertain future, De Zerbi has rejected a Bologna approach and is open to joining Brighton. Juventus are also taking a look at him.
Additionally, Roberto De Zerbi is an Italian professional football manager and former player.
