Gunmen angry, kill police officer stationed around Soludo’s country home
Gunmen on Friday invaded Isuofia community, Aguata Local Government Area, Anambra, killing one policeman in the attack.
Gov. Charles Soludo hails from the locality, and the incident happened at a junction close to his country home.
“The hoodlums stormed the area, shooting while residents scampered for safety.
“One policeman was, however, killed in the process,” a source said, adding the criminals were angry at the idea of stationing security in the area.
There are no official statements from the police command or the governor’s office yet.
