Harry Kane sets new EPL record
England national team star Harry Kane has set a new record in the English Premier League, after netting a classic goal in Tottenham Hotspur football club’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers football club in the Matchday 3 of the EPL on Saturday.
The former Leicester City football club star has been in an astonishing form for Tottenham Hotspur football club since he made his debut for the club, and he has been able to score a lot of goals for the club.
Coach Antonio Conte gave the Englishman another starting role, following his outstanding performance for the club in their hard-fought draw against Chelsea FC last weekend, and he was able to impress again.
Harry Kane led Tottenham Hotspur’s attack alongside Son Heung-Min and Dejan Kulusevski and the trio were superb in the entertaining encounter.
After playing out a goalless draw in the first half of the game, Harry Kane broke the deadlock for Tottenham Hotspur football club in the 64th minute after receiving a fine assist from Ivan Perisic to end the match 1-0.
Harry Kane equalled Sergio Aguero’s record for most goals scored for a single club by a player in the English Premier League after netting a last-minute equalizer against Chelsea last weekend, but his goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers football club means he has become the first player in the English Premier League history to score most goals for a single club.
“Harry Kane has broken Sergio Agüero’s record for most English Premier League goals scored for a single club in the competition’s history:
284 games
185 goals.”
