Healthcare Foundation poised to boost Lagosians well-being at Nigeria’s 64th Independence anniversary
In commemoration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, Dr. Creek Healthcare Foundation has put together a series of impactful healthcare initiative aimed at improving the well-being of a sizeable number of Lagosians.
Line up for attention at the proposed healthcare initiative forum scheduled to hold from October 1st to October 11th, 2024 are 64 discounted surgeries for various medical conditions, alongside 640 free medical checkups and free ante-natal registration for 64 pregnant women.
The Executive Director of Dr Creek Foundation-Dr. Gbolahan Sodipo in a chat with newsmen in Lagos ahead of the planned health initiative hinted that it is in partnership with IMC Hospital in three different locations across the state, cited the importance of the programme for many individuals in need of care to leverage on.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to enhancing healthcare access and affordability for all Lagosians.
“The discounted surgeries will include procedures for at least seven special healthcare needs like Fibroids, Caesarean Section, Appendectomy, Hernia, Hydrocele, Breast Lumps and Lipoma.
“In addition to the surgeries, we will provide 640 free medical checkups to ensure that individuals receive essential health assessments.
“Furthermore, we are excited to offer free ante-natal registration for 64 pregnant women, supporting maternal health and ensuring a healthy start for both mothers and their babies.
“The program will take place at the following location: IMC Hospital 27, Ibadan Street (West), Ebute Meta, Lagos. IMC Hospital 18 Okemedu Street,Snake Island, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos and IMC Hospital 1, Ilufemiloye Street, Snake Island, Apapa, Lagos.
