HFN got big sponsor for their League

The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), has said it had secured a mouth watering sponsorship deal,National Daily learnt.
The Secretary General of the Federation, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanma, disclosed this to National Daily during a chat recently.
He said the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), will soon be signed in the coming weeks with the unveiling of the sponsor.
Maigidansanma told National Daily that 12 teams in the male category and 10 teams in the female category will take part in a tournament bid for Abuja from 27th April -6th May, for the first phase and will be concluded in October when the second phase will kick start.
The HFN Scribe explained that the deal will see the winner go home with the sum of N1, 000, 000, the 2nd placed team N750, 000 while the third place winner will pocket N500, 000 in both the Male amd Female Categories.
He said there is a subsidy of N250,000 in each phase with branded Jerseys for all the participating teams.
Maigidansanma said the deal is a groundbreaking one in the history of the Federation and expressed delight of the Samuel Ocheho led HFN board
