How 30 houses got razed, 10 killed in Miango despite intelligence Fulani bandits would hit
Ancha and Tegbe, in Miango, Bassa LGA , got intel suspected Fulani militia would be hitting the village.
So the villagers, mostly the Irigwes, without help from the security agents, took their chances.
They kept watch.
And around 12 midnight of Nov. 26, the villagers heard heavy shooting, first from a distance, and then closer.
By day break, 30 houses have been attacked, and 10 people, including three kids killed, according to witnesses.
Six of the dead came from a single family.
Governments have condemned the attack and the living have given their dead a mass burial.
A lot of blood-spilling has been going on across the northcentral, and Plateau has been among the states taking the heat.
