How Ayade’s aide, others stole ballot boxes at Ogoja/Yala by-election (Watch Video)
While the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) may have declared Mr. Jude Ngaji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency by-election in Cross River State last weekend, a video has emerged online showing suspected thugs stealing ballot boxes and other electoral materials.
In the video seen by Nationaldailyng.com, one of those seen in the video is Jimmy Bajie, an appointee of the Cross River state governor, Ben Ayade.

The thugs led by Bajie were seen carrying ballot boxes and other electoral materials into a
waiting white bus under the close protection of the police.
Recall that Dr. John Edor, the INEC Returning Officer for the election, announced the result last Sunday in Ogoja, declaring Ngaji of the APC winner with 22,778 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mr Mike Usibe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who garnered 20,590 votes.
The election was to fill the vacuum created after Rep. Jarigbe Agom left to represent Cross River North at the Senate.
