How CNN mistakes Kashim Shettima as APC presidential candidate
International news channel, CNN on Monday, mistakenly identified, Kashim Shettima, the party VP aspirant as the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) instead of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is the Presidential candidate.
This mistake was made by CNN on Monday morning while they were discussing about the Presidential candidate of Nigeria as the Presidential campaign draw closer.
While discussing the Presidential candidates of Nigeria for the 2023 Presidential election, CNN identified Peter Obi as the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), while the mistakenly identified Kashim Shettima as the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in place of Bola Tinubu. They identified Atiku Abubakar as the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and also identified Rabiu Kwankwaso as the Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
