How to humiliate fans, players
There was a peculiar moment in the 64th minute of Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-1 win over Liverpool on Wednesday, as Neymar was so busy shouting at the crowd that he didn’t realise the ball was coming his way.
Unaware of what was happening on the pitch, the ball passed him by and Liverpool reclaimed possession.
As a result, many supporters in the stadium whistled the Brazilian superstar.
It remains unclear what exactly caused him to turn to the stands, but he didn’t seem too bothered by it as he celebrated with the fans and with the rest of his teammates after the final whistle.
