I‘ll make sure Dapo Abiodun ‘lule’ in 2023 – ex-APC chieftain
A former All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ogun state, Otunba Rotimi Paseda, has said he left the APC to make sure the governor, Dapo Abiodun is not returned in 2023.
Paseda, a former governorship candidate of the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) in 2015 and Social Democratic Party (SDP) 2019 respectively, added he left the ruling APC over alleged maladministration and incompetence of Abiodun, adding that he would use all resources within to unseat him in 2023.
Speaking with Journalists in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, Paseda described governor Abiodun as an accidental governor that did not prepared for governance.
“My decision to leave APC is not that APC did something bad to me but I want to make sure that Dapo Abiodun ‘lule’, that is why I left APC. Now that I left APC, I have not declare for any political party and do not intend to do so. I am fully a citizen of Nigeria,” Paseda added.

He, however, disclosed that he would support the candidature of Biyi Otegbeye who is the governorship candidate of Action Democratic Congress (ADC) in the forthcoming poll.
“I have declared and I’m ready to give my support to one man and that man is not anybody but Biyi Otegbeye. He is the one I’m supporting, he is the one I’m going to put my weight behind, and that is why I have come to make an official statement that every things that is Paseda in Ogun state be it financial and members would be for Otegbeye.
“I believe that, one person that will probably do what I will love to do if I become governor is Biyi Otegbeye. For the fact that I belong to a political family now and that political family is headed by Senator Ibikunle Amosun’, he added.
