IMSU lecturer called out for allegedly slapping an indisposed pregnant student during lecture
An Imo state University lecturer of the Medical Laboratory department, Dr. Desmond Izunwanne, has been called out for a§§aulting a female student.
In a viral video, the student who is reported to be feeling unwell had explained to him that she had visited the hospital just before arriving for his class. Dr. Desmond ignored her explanation and proceeded to slap her multiple times asking her, “what’s your reason for coming to class late?”. He further also asked her why she was on mufti and told her to continue to kneel. It is reported that the affected student was actually pregnant.
Meanwhile, some eyewitnesses report that this isn’t the first time Dr. Desmond’s is engaging in such a barbarous action. He has now come under condemnation from social media users with many traveling to his page to demand an explanation.
