Israel-Ayide to deliver keynote address as BJAN celebrates 2024 Consumer Rights Day
The Chief Executive Officer of CarpeDiem, Edward Israel-Ayide is expected to deliver the keynote speech at the 2024 Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN) Consumer Rights Day scheduled for March 15.
The workshop is scheduled to hold at the Heineken hall, Nigeria Breweries Plc, Abebe Village Road, Iganmu Lagos, between 9am and 1pm.
The event with the theme “Fair and responsible AI for consumers,” is in commemoration with the Annual Consumer Rights Day celebrated all over the world, March 15, is aimed at raising awareness about consumer rights and empower individuals with knowledge and resources to make informed decisions in the marketplace.

Organized by BJAN, as part of it’s resolve to join the rest of the global community to deepen discussions on issues affecting consumers/customers with particular focus on the plight of consumers in Nigeria.
According to the Chairman, Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria, Clara Okoro, Isreal-Ayide is a leading personality in promoting innovation and technology for social good in the Marketing Communications Industry, whom she believes his knowledge would greatly enhance the impact of the event.
Technology has become a game changer globally in many industries she further stated and Consumers are grappling with how Artificial Intelligence is today affecting their purchasing decisions in ethical and unethical ways.
BJAN, the umbrella body of journalists covering the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), continues to provide leadership in consumer related workshops aimed at bridging the gap between customers experiences and the brands that service them.
