I’ve not retired – Segun Toriola
Veteran Nigerian Table Tennis player Segun Toriola has debunked rumours that he has called it quit with the National team.
Several media outfits reported earlier in the year that the seven time Olympian has call it quit with the National team after missing out on making an eight appearance at Tokyo 2020.
Toriola told National Daily that”I have not retired, once I retire I with make it public officially, but right now I am still actively playing table tennis.”
Segun Toriola is one of Nigeria’s most decorated athletes and the first Nigerian to feature in Seven Olympic games.
He made his Olympic debut at Barcelona 1992 in Spain.
