Jamie O’Hara tips Chelsea for Premier League glory despite mixed start
Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has thrown his support behind Chelsea to win the Premier League title this season, despite their mixed start to the campaign.
The Blues have garnered three points from their first two fixtures, having suffered a 2-0 defeat to defending champions Manchester City before bouncing back with an emphatic 5-2 victory over Wolves.
Speaking on Sky Sports, O’Hara expressed confidence in Chelsea’s ability to mount a serious title challenge, citing the depth and quality of their squad as key factors.
“They can challenge for the title, Chelsea, I’m telling you now. If they play like that, if they’re consistent, and play like that, week in, week out, they can challenge for the title,” he said.

O’Hara highlighted the strength of Chelsea’s bench, noting that players like Neto, Nkunku, and Felix bring significant firepower when called upon, while the eventual return of Reece James, Benoît Badiashile, and Roméo Lavia will further bolster the squad.
“Their team is unbelievable,” he added. “If they play like that and believe in themselves, they have got a squad to challenge for the title.”
Chelsea’s convincing win over Wolves showcased their potential, but consistency will be key if they are to fulfill O’Hara’s prediction and reclaim the Premier League crown in May.
