Kida target automatic Olympic ticket for D’Tigers

The D’Tiger’s basketball team now places rely on automatic ticket to qualify for Tokyo 2020 Olympics after they lost back to back to Russia and Argentina before playing Korea on Wednesday in the world cup.

The president of the Nigeria basketball federation, Eng Musa Kida, explained that to finish as the highest place Africa team is their major focus and target for now as the team is fighting to get automatic ticket for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic, using the world cup as short cut

Kida expressed optimism that the tea, will qualify through the world cup, believing that Nigeria will come out as the best Africa team for the world, believing that this will give them automatic ticket for 2020 Olympics

Kida regretted the loss to Russia in a media interaction with the NBBF Media team in China.
