Lagos: Arewa Community Leader Sa’adu Yusuf tasks youths on reengineering Nigeria’s Unity
The Chairman Arewa Community Lagos State, Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf Dandare has tasked Nigerian youths to take up the charge of rebooting Nigeria’s unity through collaboration, honesty and simplicity.
Sa’adu gave the charge while receiving an award for excellence of good works from Advance Diploma in Law and Enforcement and Administration Department of History and Strategic Studies University of Lagos, Akoka.
In his words,” I am appealing to the youths to practice the spirit of togetherness, honesty and simplicity,there is need for the youths to join hands together, work collectively and strive for the emergence of a good leadership, a good leader must stand on his feet, same applies for the youths.
“My mission as the chairman Arewa community Lagos State is to unite all the Arewa’s, changing the phase of its present shape through sensitisation, education and enlightenment. “
He also envisaged a better country, where leaders would be elected based on merit and not money politicking.
“Good leadership in the country will stall bad habits such as kidnapping, banditry and corruption. The youths need to focus more on their education and utilization of their potential skills for growth and development.
“They should reach out to the government for support and in return the government should be able to make the necessary provisions. Both the youths and the government have a 50% role each to play for the country, knowing that hard work, creativity and enthusiasm are the keys to be imbibed by the youths.
“All the Arewa’s in Lagos state are for Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023 presidential election “.
The Arewa community leader charge everyone to work assiduously to effect the desired change in the coming 2023 Presidential election.
He stressed his poise to unite all the Arewa’s of each zones in Lagos State and its locality for better Nigeria.
