Lagos: Police allegedly kills okada rider, carries corpse away
A team of police men have allegedly shot an okada rider to death in the Abule Egba area of Lagos on Tuesday around 6.30pm, and also went away with the corpse.
The incident, sources discloeed, led to pandemonium in the community, as some members of the motorcycle riders attempted confronting the police.
An unverified amateur video uploaded online from the scene by eyewitnesses showed traces of blood on the ground while there was still commotion in the area.
Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident, but said he was yet to get the detail of the incident, and as such couldn’t comment further.
