LASUBEB chairman Wahab Alawiye-King elected new Dean SUBEB’s chaiman in Nigeria
Hon. Wahab Alawiye-King has been elected Dean (Chairman) of the Forum of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Chairmen in Nigeria.
Alawiye-King who is the substantive Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board was elected by his counterparts from other states of the federation at the quarterly meeting of UBEC Management with the Executive Chairmen of SUBEB in Nigeria.
The parley themed: Enhancing Access, Equity and standards in Basic Education Through Technology- Driven Initiatives was held at Benin City, Edo State between 15-18 November, 2021.
The LASUBEB Chief is an adherent of digital transformation in basic education sector and also a two term Honourable member of Lagos State House of Assembly, where he served as Chairman House Committee on Education, Science and Technology.
Alawiye-King is team player in the actualization of Education and Technology pillar of the THEMES AGENDA of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration in Lagos State. His appointment as the Dean is equally in recognition of his giant strides and various pacesetting innovation in the Basic Education in Lagos State.
