Lauretta Onochie reacts after thousands of people protest over cost of food in Spain
Lauretta Onochie, the Person Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social has reacted following a protest that took place in Spain in which thousands of people came out to protest over high cost of food, light and fuel.
Lauretta Onochie shared the photo on her official twitter page as she revealed that things are really hard now all over the world and that the pandemic is mostly to blame.
She also disclosed that some weeks ago in Belgium, a lot of men from French-speaking African nations were seen on the streets of Brussels. She said most of them had no winter coats and they shivered from the intense cold. She says they were equally hungry.
See her post belowTruly the pandemic has really impacted world’s economy. The recent war in Ukraine is not helping matters either. Over the past few weeks since the war started, the prices of fuel has gone high.
The prices of food have also increased drastically in recent months as a result of the pandemic and all the restrictions that prevented people from going out.
