Manchester United star quits international football to focus on Old Trafford duties
National Daily can confirm that Manchester United defender Raphael Varane has retired from international football with France.
The latest development National Daily further learnt is to enable the 29-year-old focus his career on playing for Manchester United, after playing in two World Cup finals.
The former Real Madrid defender was a key starter for Les Bleus as they tasted World Cup glory in 2018 and played a major role as Didier Deschamps guided his side to the 2022 showpiece in Qatar.
However, it is now understood that Les Bleus thrilling World Cup final defeat against Argentina in December was his last international match.

National Daily understands that the central defender won 93 caps for France over the course of a decade, in which he scored five goals and represented his nation in four major tournaments.
