Many injured as police officers driving under the influence of alcohol cause a ghastly car accident
Many persons sustained various degree of injuries after a police van rammed into a car and a fully loaded commercial bus in Igarra, Edo State.
The officers, who are from Ibillo Police station, were allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and hard drugs, when the accident occurred.
It was gathered that a popular gin called jekomo, crystal myrth popularly known as ice, among others were found inside the police van.
According to a source, “They hit a bus with passangers and another vehicle coming from Auchi. Several people were severely inj¥red, including my sister, she broke two legs and her right arm. Another lady sustained facial injury.”
