More villagers slaughtered as Fulani militias lay siege on Kaduna town
About 15 dead bodies have been recovered in an attack on Kagoro town and its environs in Kaura local government area of Kaduna by suspected Fulani militias.
It would be recalled that few weeks ago, the town was attacked by bandits, killing 11 people and leaving many others injured.
Though the authorities have yet to confirm the attack, a local source who craved anonymity said the bandits stormed Kagoro around 7 pm on Sunday and started shooting sporadically and attacking everybody on sight.
“The Fulanis have been besieging Kagoro in Southern Kaduna since around 07:00pm today. The shootings are going on right now. Kindly pray for Kagoro. Ask God to reach out to the enemies of the land in a special way. Pray for God’s deliverance. Kindly share this round,” the source said.

According to him, the security agencies, vigilante and local watch groups were informed and they mobilized but the havoc was said to have been done before they could repelled the attackers.
According to the source, “Besides those that have been confirmed killed by the attackers, l cannot give you the number of those injured because people took their injured relatives to hospital for treatment.”
The source added that it was a massive destruction meted on the people by the bandits.
