Nasarawa United set to resume as Dogo aims to end season

Nasarawa United football club of Lafia has announced that the players are set to resume from the two weeks’ World Cup break given to them by the management,National Daily learnt.
The players are expected to report to the Lafia City stadium by 4pm on Monday 25th of June as the Coaches plan to access the fitness level of the players ahead of the resumption of the league.
In an exclusive chat with futbaloven, Chief Coach Kabir Dogo has insisted that he has not given up hope yet as he believes his side still stand a chance of finishing well come the end of the 2017/2018 NPFL season.
“I can confirm to you that we are resuming on Monday and all players are expected to be on ground for our first training session since the break”.
“We will only access the fitness level of the players then know how to plan their programs, he stated”
“We have struggled as a team this season and also mother luck has not smiled on us so we will work very hard to achieve our set target”.
“We are still fighting on two fronts (NPFL and Aiteo cup) and I am very optimistic that we will end the season well, he concluded.
Nasarawa United occupies the 12th position of the NPFL log with 29 points from 24 games and will resume the league away to Rangers in Enugu.
