NIMC hits over 107m NIN registration
The National Identity Management Commission, NIMC, said it has recorded over 107million in the ongoing enrollment of the National Identity Number, NIN.
Director General of the Commission, Odusote Cocker disclosed this in Abuja during a press briefing where she announced her achievements in the last one year in office.
According to Cocker, the figure was increased by 3.2m, from 104m in December 2023 to 107m as at today.

She said the Commission under her supervision had attained a milestone not only in the enrollment process, but also in easing the process, cleaning up the system, deploying latest technology to upgrade their aging equipment, upscale capacity of staff and clamp down on scammers and extortionist.
With the ongoing increase in the National Identity Management Commission enrollment centers and 3,656 staff Odusote said she is targeting 200m enrollee from 107m on completion of upgrade of the system and equip ping of all NIMC centres soon.
