NPFL set to clash with Laliga Clubs
The Nigeria Professional League (NPFL) All Stars will play two La Liga clubs in Cadiz, Spain between August 12 and 13.
A 22-man selected from the NPFL clubs will participate in a four-team-tournament consisting hosts, Cadiz, Champions League finalists Atletico Madrid and Malaga respectively.
The Nigeria selected side who are already in camp will take on Malaga in their first match for a place in the final and the La Roja will take on Cadiz on the other match on August 12.
The final and third place match will hold on the following day as winners of the semi final matches will lock horns on August 13.
Prior to the collaboration signed by president of the League Management Company (LMC) Shehu Dikko and La Liga president Javier Tebas, the competition is aimed at developing professional football and other African countries.
Players who have been outstanding for their respective clubs have been selected and are already in camp for the invitational tournament.
