The Police, on Monday, arrested some persons, who claimed to be APC youths, at the Lagos State House of Assembly, during the impeachment of former Speaker of House, Mudashiru Obasa.
The arrested persons were taken away from the Assembly premises in a Black Maria. They claimed to be APC Youths from Agege, the constituency of the impeached speaker.

They claimed they were at the Lagos State House of Assembly to visit the impeached Speaker. This, however, occurred on a day the speaker was impeached.
The arrest may not be unconnected with suspicion that the youths may have been at the state legislature to obstruct legislative activities of the day, particularly, proceedings to impeach the former speaker.
According to the arrested persons, “No tangible reason has been given for us being apprehended here.
“We are 20 here, all from Agege. We are not area boys o, we are APC youths.”
