Obi defies threat, visits Edo, fires back at Okpebholo
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, defied the perceived security threat on his life from Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, visited the state as scheduled, and fired back at the Edo governor.
Obi emphasized that he went to Edo State to invest in human capital development of citizens in the state, stating that such activity would make the society better, not threat.
He enjoined the governor to replicate same gesture in his public life.

“I went to Benin to invest in a better life for the people. What I expect the governor to do is to complement efforts aimed at improving society. -Peter Obi”
