Obi, Kwakwanso in merger talk
The New Nigeria Peoples Party(NNPP) has revealed discussions are on-going with the LP candidate Peter Obi on a possible merger.
The NNPP made this known in a tweet posted to its Twitter page, @OfficialNNPPng, on Saturday.
A special committee has been set up for the talks.
“We wish to inform Nigerians that, our discussions with @PeterObi and the #LabourParty are still ongoing. Special committee was set to discuss arrangements.
“We hope for good results that will give Nigeria a chance to be alive, once again.

Rabiu Kwakwanso, the founder and presidential candidate of the party, once said he intended to make Obi his running mate, a position the frmer Anaabra governor rejected in the PDP he defected from.
