One feared dead, others injured as residents protest the outcome of the guber polls in Nasarawa
At least one person has been reportedly k#lled as residents take to the streets of Lafia, Nasarawa State, to protest the outcome of the March 18 governorship election in the state.
National Daily reports that several others have received various degree of injury following the protest that turned violent on Monday, March 20.
Recall that the National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the incumbent governor, Abdullahi Sule, as the winner of the gubernatorial election after he polled a total of 347,209 votes.
It was gathered that the protesters are on the streets to express their dissatisfaction with INEC’s declaration.
