Outage: “Relief is close,” Minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu assures Nigerians
The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu has assured Nigerians that all the problems bedevilling the sector would soon be a thing of the past as president Bola Tinubu has given a mandate that would change the narrative in the sector
Speaking during the inspection of federal government-owned Ihovbor plants in Benin City, Edo State on February 23 the minister said his ministry would push for the removal of all hindrances that had prevented the power plant from operating maximally & put it at disadvantage against plants owned by the private sector
“Like I have mentioned in a number of my past interviews, the militating fact is the shortage in gas supply which we are working on & the good news I would like to mention here is that, succour is close to us
Relief is closed to these power plants as we have met with the Mr president & he has mandated us to go & work out how we are going to defray the outstanding debts being owed” he said
