Oyo 2023: PDP chieftain declares governorship ambition, vows to unseat Governor Seyi Makinde
Ahead of the 2023 Gubernatorial Elections in Oyo State, An Ibadan-born Civil Engineer and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain, Popoola Olukayode Joshua who is Popularly known as POJ has vowed to unseat Governor Seyi Makinde in 2023.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Hopeful who is also the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State said he is well equipped and qualified to defeat the Incumbent Governor.
The PDP Aspirant rated the Makinde-led Administration low in terms of Security. Popoola lamented Oyo State has turned into an insecured State under his watch. Speaking further, Popoola said Trouble makers are being empowered by the Oyo State Government.
Speaking further, he accused Makinde of mismanaging the economy. According to him, the Governor take loans to pay the salaries of workers in the State. He also challenged Governor Makinde to tell the masses why the Accountant General of Oyo State was recently arrested and detained.
