The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has condemned an attack on a four-months old baby by suspected Fulani militia also known as bandits.

Mutfwang described the attack on the innocent child as callous wondering what sin or wrong the victim infant has committed to deserve the anger of his attackers.

Recall that a four-month old baby was last Sunday amputated by suspected Fulani militia when they invaded Danda village in Chugwi community of Jos South Local Government Area of the State, killing seven people, amputating a four-month old baby and injuring many others.

Responding to the incident, Mutfwang who visited the baby in Vom Christian hospital expressed sadness over the pathetic condition of the baby, infant David Pam, who is still in pain from the gunshots that chopped off his hand.

Represented by the Deputy Governorship candidate, Hon. Josephine Piyo, Mutfwang lamented the heinous crime committed in our present world.

“We received the news of this ugly incident with a heavy heart because it is very painful that somebody who is not enjoying the basic life facilities will be killed by an individual right inside his bedroom without any form of provocation.

“Life is sacrosanct, nobody has the right to take the life of anybody, except God”, he said.

He expressed strong commitment towards providing adequate security to protect Plateau citizens if elected into office.

He however, presented cash donations for the survivors who are receiving treatment at the hospital and food nutrients for the amputated baby.
