PMB commission new State University, roads in Edo

President Buhari today commissions Ugbegun Ujogba-Igueben-Ewohimi Road and Edo State University as part of his visit to Edo.

Lagos State Governor Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, the All Progressive Congress (APC) National Chairman Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and a host of party chieftains were present at the occasion

Edo State University is located in Iyamho, Etsako West Local Government Area of the State.

It is a specialized university to cater for the science and technology manpower needs of the South South region in particular and Nigeria in general.

Prof S Aluyor the Acting Vice Chancellor of the University told President Buhari and the dignitaries in attendance.

President Buhari is expected to return to Abuja today.
