Police arrest 2 robbers in Lagos
The Lagos State Police Command has disclosed the arrest of two robbery suspects in the state involved in ‘one-chance’ mode of robbing unsuspecting commuters of their valuables in commercial vehicles.
The two suspects residing in Ijora Badia, Lagos State, were said to be operating with tricycles and had been terrorising commuters in Mushin, Yaba and Surulere axis. The police said they were arrested on Monday.
The suspects were said to be arrested after attacking some passengers of their phones and other valuables in Surulere.
A police patrol team was said to be alerted when one of the victims raised an alarm on Funsho Williams Avenue, Surulere, and two members of the syndicate were arrested while one escaped.
