Police arrest wanted notorious ritualist; rejects N1 million bribe offer
A 35-year old man and member of a notorious ritualist syndicate, Ifasoji Ayangbesan has been arrested by men of the Ogun police command in connection with the death of Oyindamola Adeyemi.
According to a statement by the image maker of the command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi the victim was killed & dismembered by the suspect & his accomplices on Jan 28, 2023 in Ijebu Ode.
He noted that other members of Ifasoji’s gang has been arrested & it was during interrogation that the police were able to find his hideout at Ijade Iloti area of Ijebu Ode.
Luck however ran against him when he was apprehended at his hideout on the 28th of April 2023. Immediately he was arrested, the suspect made an offer of N1 million bribe to the policemen which was rejected.
He confessed been part of the syndicate who killed Oyindamola Adeyemi & that he was the person who severed the 2 legs of the deceased which he claimed he used for ritual purpose.
