Poverty: Shehu Sani knocks FG
Former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has slammed the current regime of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) for failing in its promise to reduce poverty.
On Thursday, the National Bureau of Statistics disclosed that about 133 million Nigerians are now in poverty.
Sani via his Twitter handle on Friday said, “They promised to lift One hundred million people out of poverty; now they have officially thrown One hundred and thirty three million people into deeper poverty.”
