Presidency 2023: Christian, Islamic leaders endorse Okorocha
Top leaders of the Christian and Muslim religions on Friday endorsed Senator Anayo Rochas Okorocha. former Governor of Imo State, for president in the 2023 elections. The endorsement by the leaders of both Christian and Islamic religions was communicated by a College of Bishops and Councils of Imams at a joint press briefing in Abuja.
The religious leaders noted that Okorocha is an astute administrator, a philanthropist, that has spread his humanitarian goodwill to all parts of the country to the benefit of everyone in need in disregard to tribe and religious affinities.
They considered this to be significant attribute of a nationalist and promoter of Nigeria’s unity.
