Presidency 2023: North Central dumps Gov Yahaya Bello, signs up for Tinubu
The north central may have dumped Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State in the 2023 presidential race in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring support for the APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
National Chairman of the North Central Alliance for Asiwaju 2023, Ibrahim Raji, at the launch of the Niger State unit of the North Central Agenda in Alliance with Southwest Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 in Minna, Niger State, declared the support of the North Central for the presidential ambition of Tinubu.
Raji was of the view it is time for people to repay Tinubu for his sacrifices to the development of the country.
The Niger State Coordinator of the North Central Alliance for Asiwaju, Ganiyat Adegbite, affirmed that residents of Niger State are prepared to support Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election. Adegbite declared that Tinubu is the best Nigerian to become president in 2023, promising the alliance will mobilize massively in Niger State for the APC national leader in the presidential election.
The Niger State Coordinator, Women in Nigeria for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Barrister Maryam Kolo, expressed that Tinubu has shown that he is passionate about women, noting that women in Niger State will support Tinubu in 2023.
The alliance expressly ignored the presidential project of Governor Bello of Kogi State.
