Presidential aide explains why Buhari will continue London medical vac—for life

When your life depends on a group of people’s gifted hands, you don’t want to skip out on them.

That appears what the special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, was clarifying o Reno Omokri and other #HarassBuharioutofLondon campaigners.

According Adesina, for up to 40 years, Buhari’s health has been managed by the very team the president has been visiting in London since he became a civilian president in 2015.

“It’s advisable that he continues with those who know his medical history and that is why he comes to London to see them,” e said when asked why the president doesn’t like to be checked-up in Nigeria.

“Once you can afford it, then stay with the team that has your history.”

Presently in the UK for a global education summit, Buhari will spend will take time to consult with his medical doctors in London.

He will come back to Nigeria second week of August.

Adesina said his boss lumped the medical leave earlier scheduled with the trip for the summit to save time, cut cost, and make Nigerians understand it is not an emergency.
