Rapper Nipsey Hussle’s killer sentenced to 60 years imprisonment
Eric Holder, who murdered rapper Nipsey Hussle in 2019, has been sentenced to 60 years in prison.
Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke II handed down the sentence on Wednesday to Eric R. Holder Jr., 33, who was found guilty of the 2019 first-degree m¥rder of the 33-year-old Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist outside the clothing store Hussle founded in the South Los Angeles neighborhood where both men grew up in very similar circumstances.
Prosecutors argued during the m¥rdee trial that the attack was premeditated, saying it was the culmination of a prior dispute between Holder and Hussle. Deputy District Attorney John McKinney said there was “no doubt” Holder planned to k#ll Hussle, and told the court that he shot the rapper at least 10 times and kicked him in the head before fleeing the scene, according to the Associated Press.
