Reactions as Jonathan shares pictures of himself and his team after staying overnight in Mali
The former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan GCFR, GCON has taken to his Facebook handle to share some pictures of himself and his team on their visit to Mali and Ghana respectively.
Goodluck Jonathan and his team had visited Bamako, the capital and largest city of Mali in continuation of their mediation efforts. However, he and his team had to stay overnight in Mali before moving out of the country.
Earlier today, Goodluck Jonathan and his team left Mali for, Accra, the capital of Ghana, on the Atlantic coast of West Africa, where they attended the sixth Extraordinary session of ECOWAS Authority of Heads of States and Government on the political situations in Mali, Guinea and Burkina Faso.
Goodluck Jonathan shared the pictures of himself and his team during their visits to the above mentioned countries on Facebook commending the efforts of the leaders in restoring democracy in the affected countries.
In his Facebook post, Goodluck Jonathan said that he commends the efforts of the leaders of the sub-region towards restoring democracy and resolving socio-political tensions in the affected nations in their zone.
