Reactions as Peter Obi emerges winner of a recent online presidential poll conducted by Reno Omokri
A recent presidential poll conducted by Reno Omokri, the former special assistant to former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has stirred reactions online after Peter Obi emerged as Nigeria’s most preferred presidential aspirant.
The poll consisted of four presidential aspirants, which included Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Peter Obi, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Ahmad Lawan.
According to the results of Reno Omokri’s poll, Peter Obi received 75% of the votes, Yemi Osinbajo received 16% of the votes, Bola Ahmed Tinubu received 7.3% of the votes, and Ahmad Lawan received only 1.30% of the votes.View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
Reacting to the results, some Nigerians felt elections were not won on social media and that people voting for Peter Obi did not even have a valid personal voter card. Others felt Peter Obi would eventually go on to win the election next year and that this was a step in the right direction for him.
