Reno Omokri replies man who accused him and the ex-president GEJ of being thieves
Controversial Reno Omokri, a Nigerian socialite, has recently taken to his Facebook page to reply a twitter user who called and accused him and the former president, Jonathan, of being theives.
Reno Omokri Reacting to his statement, he wrote: “You guys have been insulting me for the past weeks and that is okay.” But why would you extend your insults to former President Jonathan? Jonathan and I are not thieves. Nobody in the Buhari administration has ever accused either of us of stealing. ”
“Moreover, neither of us are contesting in 2023. You, Chinonso, are from the southeast. Why would you insult a man who did so much for your region? The only airport in your region is courtesy of Jonathan. The only secretary of the Federal government of Igbo origin was appointed by Jonathan. The first Igbo chief of army staff since 1966 was a Jonathan appointee. ”
“Even Peter Obi credited the fact that Jonathan was acting president as one of the reasons he won a second term as Governor of Anambra on February 7, 2010. I don’t get it. Why this venom for a man who did his best to address the marginalisation of your region? ”
“Can you not state your case and promote your agenda without these unnecessary attacks on people you may need in the future?”
