RIP: Kashamu dies of Covid-19
The covid-19 pandemic has claimed another big victim as the viral infection races towards its peak in Nigeria.
Former Sen Buruji Kashamu just died of Covid-19
His colleague and former Senator Ben Bruce confirmed this on Saturday.
In a tweet, Bruce revealed Kashamu died of COVID-19 at First Cardiology Consultants in Lagos.
“I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable. He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos,” he tweeted.
The PDP former senator representing Ogun East is the latest among very important politicians to have been killed by the viral infection.

Oyo’s former Gov. Abiola Ajimobi, former CoS Abba Kyari, Sen. Bayo Oshinnowo were among those that succumbed to the deathly grip of the virus.
He will be buried on Saturday, according to the spokesman of his family.
Kashamu died at 62.
